Corys Marks to Celebrate Rocktober with two Releases October 4th.
October 1, 2024
Country/Rock artist, Cory Marks, is set to celebrate Rocktober with two new singles, rock themed “Fast As I Can” and country jam “Whiskey For Sale” set for release on October 4th, off his upcoming second full-length album ‘Sorry for Nothing’ due out October 11th via Better Noise Music.

Fans had a chance to get an early taste of the album earlier this year when Marks dropped the lead single “(Make My) Country Rock” which features Sully Erna of GODSMACK, Mick Mars (Motley Crue), and Travis Tritt. The song blends both country and rock together in Marks unapologetic way with the chorus of the song proudly proclaiming “Ain’t ever gonna stop/ I’m gonna make my country rock.”
“What can I say…I’m country, I’m rock,” shared Marks. When talking about the 13 songs on the upcoming album “They’re all Cory Marks”, says Marks, “I’m very familiar with both genres. I try to mix country music with rock and a dash of metal, mash it all up and that’s my sound.”

Marks will be heading to the U.S. this fall opening for Theory of a Deadman with that tour stretching from October 29th to November 23. Marks will also be performing at the Rock the Locks Music Festival in Umatilla, OR on Friday, October 4th where he will be sharing the stage with acts such as Halestorm and Eclipse.
