The Rock the Locks Music Festival is set to return to the Big River Golf Course this October 4th-6th for its second annual event. The music festival will transform Umatilla into the music epicenter of eastern Oregon.

This three-day family friendly music festival promises an incredible lineup featuring over 20 bands on two different stages. The lineup will include a mix of regional, national and international acts. Friday night will see rockers Halestorm headlining, while Saturday will feature 90’s legends Stone Temple Pilots. The festival will close out Sunday night with Canadian pop-rock giants Barenaked Ladies. Another notable act that fans won’t want to miss is Swedish rock band, Eclipse, who will be making their first US appearances this year since 2016.

Festival goers can also expect a wide variety of vendors and activities over the weekend. Building on the success of last year’s event, which featured over 30 different vendors offering food, drinks and crafts, this year the organizers aim to host over 50 vendors.
Last year’s festival drew nearly 8000 people over the course of the three-day event with many attending all three days. This year attendance is expected to increase due to the positive feedback from both performers and fans from last year’s event.

With the anticipated influx of attendees, camping options are expected to sell more than last year. Last year saw over 600 campers, with spaces for 1000 available. With camping numbers expected to increase, early reservations are recommended.

Rock the Locks Music Festival is poised to deliver an unforgettable experience in its sophomore outing. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this event in Umatilla this fall.
