Saliva Brings High-Octane Energy to Salt Lake City With a Show at The Complex
February 26, 2025

Hard rock outfit, Saliva, made their return to Utah this past week, delivering an energetic performance at The Complex in downtown Salt Lake City. Braving the cold and winter storm making its way across the state, fans turned out in full force eager for a night of hard-hitting rock. With up-and-coming rockers Kingdom Collapse opening the show, the night was packed with energy, nostalgia and captivating moments.
Kingdom collapse opened the night showing the audience why they are becoming a force in the rock scene. If you’re not familiar with this band yet, you will be soon – they’ve been gaining serious traction with their latest releases climbing the rock charts and hitting No. 1 on SiriusXM Octane. By the end of t
heir set the Utah fans were fully engaged, headbanging and helping build their rising fan base.
As the lights dimmed after the intermission the anticipation was reaching it’s peak for the night’s main event as Saliva took the stage, led by bassist Brad Stewart and the powerhouse vocals of front man Bobby Amaru. The band wasted no time kicking things off, diving right into the hard hitting “Superstar” for the opening number, igniting a frenzy in the crowd before jumping into one of their biggest hits “Ladies and Gentlemen.” If the audience wasn’t already ramped up, these two back-to-back songs, famous for their use in WWE events and The Fast and the Furious movie sent the energy levels through the roof.
Following the incredible opening of the show was a setlist stacked with banger after banger of Saliva hits, each one building the excitement. Stewart’s basslines and Amaru’s vocals combined with the rest of the band proved that Saliva still has plenty of fire left in them.
At the end of the night Saliva brought the show to a climatic finale with the iconic hit “Click Click Boom” turning the energy up even higher than I thought possible. The newly energized fans pumped their fists in the air shouting and then singing every word, echoing the lyrics back at the band.
Saliva’s show in Salt Lake City was one for the books capped off with the band sticking around to give fans a personal connection after the incredible show. Vocalist, Bobby Amaru, invited fans to meet them at the merch table and stuck around signing autographs, posing for pictures and talking with fans. It’s this kind of fan connection and their pull of the music that keeps Saliva’s legacy alive and well proving that their band isn’t just about the music it’s about that and the fan experience and connection.
